i don't know, man

hella money, on craigslist

souleverlift asked: seems like main attraks and the mob are getting cozier. is this as exciting to you as it is myself?

I mean if it means that anyone at Pitchfork (other than, much to his credit, David Drake) will care about Husalah and Jacka, sure, I guess it’s good news. Perhaps I’m crazy, but I do feel like MA’s appeal is 50% novelty and 50% beat selection, whereas someone like Husalah — who will likely never enjoy the fawning adverb-laden attention of indie critics — is appealing for his incredible talent and charisma, not to mention his bizarre life story, which includes a conversion to Islam that informs a lot of his music.

If it helps Husalah make money, I’m happy about it. I don’t think MA will make the Mob Figaz more interesting or vice versa.
